Bubbles appear in cases where the thickness of the layer of mastic over 1 mm and paste dries slowly, with a normal layer of mastic, but poorly smoothed linoleum paste does not stick to the linoleum, mastic layer is less than 0,5 mm or absent.
To avoid these defects mastic should be applied only with a notched trowel, providing a layer of uniform thickness across the surface of the base.

To remedy swollen places linoleum glued to rezinobitumnoy mastic and hot bitumen, primarily to release the air, accumulated in a bubble, it does take an awl to pierce the hole, then smooth out the linoleum around them and put on the site load.
If bubbles appear again, it is recommended to the swollen place to put a bag of hot sand, or a place to iron through the paper several times with a hot iron.
In special cases, a swollen areas required to enter the syringe solvent to soften the hardened adhesive mastic. After softening putty should squeeze and paste swollen places. For gluing the individual places a syringe injected under the coating liquid paste.
